New York Fashion Week (NYC)—The DARKOH Spring/Summer Menswear Presentation at The Designer’s Loft on Monday, September 8th was a perfect combination of trendy and sensible styles making for a successful line.

This year’s collection was catered to both the young businessman and the contemporary man who is devoted to being confident, successful, and appropriately provocative.

Joyce Darkoh, a German designer and graduate of Germany’s prestigious Modeschule Schloss Eller, has taken off since her brand’s launch in 2013. Her pieces have really made its mark in the sophisticated world of menswear. read more

Annjannette Spicer, the president of Annjannette Models, looked very fashion show chic when she attended Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2015 at Helen Mills Event Space on September 6, 2014.

The all about business woman looked very New York City fashionable with her black midi-length lace dress, black clutch, black strappy sandals, and to top the look off she added the perfect multi-strand pearl necklace along with layers of pearl bracelets.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (NYC)–  The Mark and Estel show at Lincoln Center in New York City, on Friday, September 5th 2014 was just what everyone expected—fun and fashionably chic!

The crowd poured in by the hundreds with attendees well-endowed in fashion with titles like fashion editors, journalists, bloggers, stylists and fashion professionals.  All those in attendance were ready to see the much anticipated show of Mark and Estel’s Spring/Summer 2015 line.

The energy of the show created lots of buzz with fashion enthusiasts sitting with anticipation waiting for the show to begin.  As we waited for the fashionably late show to begin, we at Pearl’s Only, had the moment to take a look back into Mark and Estel’s claim of fame. The husband and wife team, are best known for their upbeat fashion shows filled with striking clothing that can be worn right off the runway, and their out-of-the-box live performances which makes them dynamic rock stars! read more

We love a great siting and nothing beats seeing the singer, Rihanna, all dressed up and on the go at the Coco Chanel Show during Paris Fashion Week.

Dressed from head to toe in Chanel and posing with the fashion genius, Karl Lagerfeld, we could not help but notice the arm candy on Rihanna’s tattooed wrist.

PEARL FASHION: Dom Streater creates a collection that looks lovely with pearls!

We are obsessed with the new fashion line from Dom Streater. Known for her amazing talent as a designer and the winner of Project Runway Season 12, she made her New York Fashion Week debut in February with her new “Prima” collection, and fashion fanatics approved of the amazing prints and 1950-60’s inspired designs that were simple and elegant.

Being just 25-years-old, the Philly native gave us ladylike conceptions that are appealing to young and fashionable women. The prints and colors were definitely en vogue. Imagine being the top notch beauty at an afternoon tea. Yea, the clothing has that kind of feel… pure elegance.  Pink is definitely the color of the year amongst the young, hip and chic. Black, white and gray combinations and separates where trending at almost every show during New York Fashion Week. read more

#NYFW @NicholasK Keeps Their Edge as They Open the Show for New York Fashion Week

The light came on and the music hyped up the setting for the premiere of super trendy and always high fashion Nicholas K, the brother and sister team of designers that opened the very first show of the day and week for Mercedes Benz New York on February 6, 2014.

Loose fit dresses and pants for the women were in the trending color of black and white. Soft and flowing textures gave movement while leather gave edge creating a BoHo chic meets edgy and dark Fashionista creating ultra-fashion. A lot of drop waist dresses and pants looked great with the air moving textures that were draped on the models. read more
